What to bring

Group Leader Checklist

Important Policies

  • Footwear for the river - old sneakers or water shoes are the best. No flip-flops or bare feet please!
  • Shorts and a t-shirt that can get wet. Light windbreaker for cooler days (no hood if possible)
  • Wetsuit for cold days. Wetsuits are available for rent at our base - a thin synthetic layer of clothing, like nylon or Under Armor, can be worn under them.
  • Dry change of clothes.
  • Eyeglass straps (available in our outfitter store)
  • Sunscreen
  • Be sure everyone meets the minimum age requirement (14+)
  • Print our waiver form for each child under the age of 18 that will be rafting. Make sure that it is signed by the child and the parent or guardian. Bring these with you. Anyone over the age of 18 can fill one out on arrival.
  • Give everyone driving directions and check in time. Please emphasize the importance of being on time - If you snooze, you may lose! We cannot wait or be responsible for getting guests on the river if they arrive late. Your check in time is the time you should arrive, not the time the trip leaves. We are unable to refund for no-shows or late arrivals.
  • Make final payment and explain cancellation policies to each participant.
  • Alcohol and drugs are not permitted. Anyone who, in our judgment, is under the influence will be denied participation, without refund.
  • Timely arrival is imperative. We cannot wait, and there can be no refunds for late arrivals.
  • Last minute additions may be possible. Please call to inquire whether there will be room.
  • No refunds can be made for no-shows, late arrivals or late cancellations.
  • 50% refund is available for cancellations made 7-14 days in advance.
  • 100% refund for cancellations at least 15 days in advance. We raft rain or shine. If in doubt, call ahead.
  • Each participant is required to read and sign a liability waiver and covenant not to sue.
